The correct stock size control arm bolts are metric. Many aftermarket SAE conversion kits replace the original metric hardware with larger-diameter bolts (such as 9/16" or 11/16"), which often requires drilling the factory bushing sleeves and permanently modifying the joint. Instead of increasing bolt diameter, we retained the factory metric design and engineered a proper shoulder so the bushing sleeve rides on the shoulder rather than the threads. This maintains proper support, clamp stability, and fit while preserving the original suspension components and geometry. We believe retaining the factory metric design is the preferred engineering approach whenever possible.
These DO NOT come in stainless. Any bolts where the strength of the bolt might come into question, such as a rollover or anything of that nature, we stick to EXTREMELY strong material to make sure to keep drivers safe. So rollbar and seat bolts, etc, should never be stainless steel.
